oh my - i've updated my blog!

I’m a bad blogger, sorry!! Between my new job (which is unreal – but SUPER busy), moving back to Geelong and my short course at RMIT....I’ve had no time....so I thought it was about TIME to sit down and fill you in on the number of things I’ve been up to....

NUMBER 1

I stumbled upon the Jessica Sprague http://www.jessicasprague.com/ website and her amazing ‘Stories in Hand’ FREE class....what an amazing idea I thought....
I know I have a million stories – what I have to say matters – whether I took a picture and scrapbooked it or not... and Jessica has devised a system to capture those moments and stories that fall in-between those big events that happen in our lives and we need to scrap more often – to record those little things that make our life rich, fulfilling and unique...
So then when I sit down to tell a story (blogging, scrapbooking etc) I can have some stories in hand!!
So I joined up – can’t wait to see what the class is like!! What a brilliant idea!

NUMBER 2
The move to Geelong went well, my new housemates are really nice. Friendly, clean, considerate and fun – check, check, triple check!!
Check out the details of my new room:

NUMBER 3:
I’ve been scrapping – a little ‘First Christmas album’ for my ex-boyfriends Nephew....using Kaisercraft Christmas papers “Wish Upon” – here I used Star Bright and Twinkle and matching epoxy brads. I also used Bliss coloured pearls, clear stamps, and flowers. Other products included basic grey letters, kindyglitz, carolees creations letters and autumn leaves stamps.

NUMBER 4:
I’ve got some grouse news.....although I don’t think I’m able to share it yet...you’ll be the first to know when I can!!

So I'll leave you with that - oh and don't forget to check out Kaisercraft's 100 to 1 Scrap Off Competition - details on the Kaiser's website - it's an awesome competition, with fantastic prizes to be won!!

changes....

a quick post...

- as we head into summer, and spring is in the air - Beautiful blossoms fill the air, green spring grass, thongs (as in sandals for the US readers), skirts, florals, sun, sunglasses, shopping, the beach.... yummo – hence my weekend last weekend, wearing my thongs, and my cute little floral skirt (from Big W!! – shhh!!).....

Check out my cute as little car – freshly washed!

And some scrapping I did last weekend....

I’m moving back to Geelong this weekend, I’ll be packing all day tomorrow and hiring a truck to move it all down to Geelong with the help of ol’ mum and dad – geez I love em!! It’s such a hard decision, and as I start packing tomorrow I know it will be harder and harder....I’m kind of glad my now ex-boyfriend won’t be around for the weekend, I know that would be even harder! I’ve got such mixed feelings though, and I know I still do care a lot about him, I do know that we need some time apart. It will be good to get back to g-town, catch up with old friends, make new ones, and have some time to myself for a bit to sort out what I really want....

Wish me luck!
Hope u all have a FABULOUS weekend too!!

wordle fun

I was blog surfing this arvo, and found belinda's blog had a cool little feature on it called a 'wordle' - here's mine - and what i've been blogging about the most lately...

I did a bit of scrapping today also... I worked on Tamara's CJ and did a page for my 2006 album.

I also started moving my stuff into the spare room - Brad and I have decided to spendsome time apart. We haven't been working lately, not appreciating each other and I really don't think we're 'working'. It's been a hard decision to make, but a mutual one. So I've moved most of my stuff into the spare room until I can find somewhere to live in Geelong...

recovering

Hi all
thanks for all your comments! I am recovering pretty quickly actually. My mouth was swollen the most of Friday and has gone down considerably since then. I still have a bit of pain - i love those drugs!! :)

My mum came down on Friday as planned. She hasn't really 'needed' to look after me, but it was still nice to have here - especially on Friday when we got some grocery's - and I almost 'faded' at the supermarket checkout!! HAHA - what a way to get mum to pay for grocery's!! ;)

We cooked tuna and tomato risotto for tea, and cooked up some chicken and sweet corn soup! YUM. Watched a movie 'No Reservations'.

We visited Geelong on Saturday - to the Kaisercraft factory outlet - mum had a blast there, and we got a few free bits and pieces!! YAY. We visited my old boss and good friend and her little twin bubba's.

Brad went fishing today. He caught a trout too..

We had fish and chips for tea. Brad went to an engagement party so mum and has a night of scrapping!! Mum thought she was going to 'watch' me - hahaha. But we scrapped, talked and had fun.

Today I was so tired - I've had two cat naps, ate some yummy ice-cream and went out for breakfast this morning.

On another note Brad and I are going through a tough time at the moment, I'm looking to move back down to Geelong in the next month...It's been a tough few months lately, arguing too much, and not appreciating each other. We'll see how things go.

a quick hello

Just thought I'd pop by.

I'm at home today - on the couch recovering after having 4 of my wisdom teeth out - not much pain YET....just feel numb/swollen! :(

My mum is coming down tomorrow, so it will be nice to have her look after me for a bit!!

News: My new job is coming along really well - all the guys (and gals) at Kaisercraft are FABULOUS, work will be busy but so exciting, interesting and fun at the same time!!

My new car is going great, it's so much better to drive after driving around my clunky 20-year old telstar!!

In scrapping news: I was super excited to see my FIRST published layout in the latest Scrapbooking Memories Magazine on pg. 123 - check it out!! I've also been commissed for another of Lusi Austin's Top 10 for issue 63 of Scrapbook Creations - and got a 'please send your layout in' for another layout for SM!! :)

Catch you soon.
