Whoa! These holidays have whooshed past in a blur! Many apologies for not blogging – wait no I don’t apologise, it’s been fabulous, being away from ‘home’ in Geelong, away from work, away from the computer - to just relax, catching up with family and friends and traipsing about wherever I’ve felt like going.
So where do I start? Here’s my Christmas break in a flash!!
I enjoyed some quality time back home at the farm, helping out mum and dad, relaxing on the back lawn reading twilight while sunbaking, playing Guitar Hero with my brother, reading magazines, drinks at the local pub on Christmas Eve and just relaxing.

Christmas was great. It’s always lovely going back home to open presents on Christmas morning with mum and dad, spending the morning checking out my new gifts, helping mum and heading off to see family for the day. I spent Christmas Day at my Uncle and Aunty’s with my two cousins and Nan and Pop. We had a blast swimming, playing Sing Star, drinking and eating WAY TOO MUCH food!

Brad came to visit for a few days, we celebrated my mum’s birthday on the 28th Dec with family again, dining out at a pub for a yummy lunch.

Brad and I then spent a few days at his parents farm – more swimming, catching up with family, reading my book, watching movies, riding the bike around the farm and MORE RELAXING.

Back to Melbourne for New years Eve. Brad and I have had a lovely holiday just the two of us spending time with the people we love, and doing the things we love doing. We’ve been shopping, eating out, seeing movies (Twilight), walking and more relaxing! We spent New Years Eve together, it was perfect, nibbles, watching a movie, flipping channels on the TV and a mad dash into the city, finding a park and dashing across the parks to watch the fireworks along South Bank!

The last few days I’ve been shopping, cleaning, pulling down Christmas trees, organising my scrap space, fixing up my outdoor area, scrapping, beaching it (with Brad), and even more relaxing.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2009 – filled with lots of the things I love doing. 2009 for me is about PRIORITIES. It’s about realising the most important things in my life and focusing on those – those who I love and love me back, doing the things I love and working towards betting my career, learning, travelling and most importantly having FUN!
Happy New Year to all!
