where we will sparkle forever....

I brought this print last Friday that I'm SUPER excited about! I brought it from an awesome print from this etsy seller, Dazeychic for a friend of mine a month or so back - the print arived on mat board, it was bigger than I expected and awesome quality....

"Where we will sparkle forever".... is a super cute print that totally sums up how I feel about Brad right now! :).

On another note I had to say goodbye to a very dear friend and her boyfriend a couple of weekends ago, and last weekend they headed off on a European adventure for the next 6 months! I brought Em a cute lil travel journal to record all her thoughts, memories and events while they're travelling. We enjoyed a few beers with a great bunch of friends! :)

Brad and I went down Lygon St for breakfast, and spotted this AWESOME graffiti while walking there! Totally the best the about living in Melbourne - it's so easy to duck down the street to some random cafe for breaky and spot awesome artwork on the way! :)

Last weekend I ventured back to my parents to enjoy the fresh country air, watch my brother play footy (he scored 3 goals), and enjoy some quality time with family. A super quick trip, but totally worth it!

Here's a lil scrap page I made last week also, proud to be an aunty! :)

I hope you all had a fab weekend also!

Maybe then honesty need not be feared as a friend or an enemy

I've been scrapping my fingers off over the weekend (my long weekend that is).... Yep I had last Friday off work :).... It was lovely (even though I did spend 3 hours cleaning my old house, only to find out today from the real estate people it's STILL not clean enough!) Arghh....

Anyway, annoying things aside I had an awesome weekend - going on a lovely date night with Brad - we went to our favourite sushi place and saw the new Terminator movie!

On Saturday I got my hair done....and the big unveil.....

Do you like? The fringe is long enough that it can be swept to the side also - two looks in one, and at a great price too! :)

And for my scrapping:
I got stuck into some gesso, some cute flocked Chatterbox paper and an old photo of a cactus I love....

A little simple layout, totally inspired by recently meeting the talented Leanne Stamatellos.... A couple of photo's of my boyfriend Brad and his gorgeous little Nephew Mason:

A layout I made using Kaiser's lovestuck paper, I LOVE these photo's of my Mum and Dad when they were younger - how adorable were they?

A card I made from the scrap of the lovestruck paper....

A fun layout with a picture of my very best friend, Em!

And finally, here's a little 'therapeutic' layout I made on Sunday. I really like this quote, "Perhaps our eyes need to be washed by our tears once in a while so that we can see life with a clearer view again." It holds significant meaning to a group of events surround a group of people I no longer associate with that has happened in the last 7 odd months. I have done a lot of thinking, soul searching and crying to come to the conclusion that some people are just not worth having in your life anymore if they continue to bring you down unneccessarily. I can now see very clearly and it's only because of that crying and hearache that I got to this point. Sometimes we have to hurt to see what's really happening in front of our own eyes....

I hope you're all well and happy scrapping.

I've been busy movin in....and then I've been up in Brissie for work! (ah the perks).. :)Gorgeous sunny Brisbane!

Our stand that Mel and I manned all by ourselves - yep girls rule! :)

My 'wall' in the tutor display...

The wheel along southbank! After seeing Katie's photo's I couldn't resist!

I also got to catch up with Katie, it was awesome to finally meet you (if only briefly):

As well as Renee - you're so gorgeous hun! It was lovely to meet you!

On Sunday night, Mel and I attended drinks at The Plough Inn, hosted by Print Blocks. We enjoyed champagne (on an empty stomach), chatting and prizes! :) Yes that photo below is my new lifetime supply of Kindy Glitz! haha!!

Mel and I also enjoyed some fantastic shopping in the city. A new top, pandora charm and earrings later we were satisfied!

Anyways.... here's a little shot of my gorgeous little place I'm living in. I share it with my fantastic new housemate Fi, and her gorgeous doggies Morris and Abba! It's a warm, cosy and homely little 2 bedroom weatherboard place close to the city! :)

Lastly I'll leave you with this! Just head to the Kaiser blog to check out the amazing prize pack's we've got on offer!
